Page is missing a title

What this means for your business

Your page has no title, so search results and browser tabs show a blank or generic label. This hurts your search ranking and makes your site look untrustworthy.

How to fix it
Easy
10–20 minutes

  1. 1Add a <title> tag to every page in the HTML <head>: <title>Page Name | Your Business Name</title>
  2. 2Keep it under 60 characters — longer titles get cut off in search results.
  3. 3Include your primary keyword near the beginning of the title.
  4. 4Make each page title unique — never use the same title on two different pages.
  5. 5Use this format for most pages: [Primary Keyword] - [Secondary Keyword] | [Brand Name]

On WordPress

Install Yoast SEO or Rank Math — they add a title field to every page editor with a character counter and live preview of how it looks in Google.

On Shopify

In each page/product/collection editor, scroll to "Search engine listing preview" → "Edit website SEO" → fill in the Page title field.
